This policy explains what information Beginner to FPV ("B2FPV", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because our setup is simple.

Who we are

Beginner to FPV is a small, US-based hobby shop operated out of New York, United States. Our website is a static site — there is no account system and no database of visitor profiles.

What we collect

• Contact form. When you use our contact form, you send us your email address and your message. The form is delivered through a third-party form service (Formspree), which forwards your submission to our inbox.
• Order correspondence. For custom 3D-print and STL-file orders, we exchange email and the order details you choose to share (for example, your color/design notes or an uploaded file) so we can fulfill the request.
• Checkout. When you buy something, your cart contents and payment details are handled by our cart and payment providers (below) — they are not stored on this site.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the shop. These third parties process payment and/or personal data on their own systems and may set their own cookies:

• Snipcart — shopping cart and checkout. Snipcart Privacy Policy

• Google Fonts — our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which may transmit your IP address to Google when the fonts are requested. Google Privacy Policy

Please review their policies, since your payment and personal data are handled under their terms when you use those features.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web host may automatically collect standard server-log data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages accessed — for security and operational purposes. This is typical of how websites operate and is not used to build visitor profiles.

Cookies

This site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The third-party services above may set cookies that are necessary for the cart, checkout, or contact form to work.

How we use your information

Only to do what you asked: reply to your message, answer purchase questions, and fulfill and support your orders. Nothing else.

Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected. Order information is retained for order fulfillment, our records, and any tax or legal requirements. Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for reasonable records. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can also ask us to delete your data sooner — see Requesting deletion of your data below.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Our site is served over HTTPS so data is encrypted in transit, payment data is handled by reputable third-party processors (above), and we limit access to the information we hold. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Your rights: accessing, correcting, and deleting your data

You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you — such as your contact-form message or order emails — at any time. You may also request to access the personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected if it is inaccurate. Email beginnertofpv@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. Data held by Snipcart or PayPal for completed transactions is governed by their own policies and any legal record-keeping requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. For example, residents of the EU and UK (under the GDPR) and residents of California (under the CCPA) may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of their personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at beginnertofpv@gmail.com and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

International data transfers

Beginner to FPV and the service providers we use are based in the United States, so your information may be processed and stored in the US. If you are using the site from outside the United States, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children's privacy

Our site and services are not directed at children under 13 (in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA), and in some jurisdictions under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
